Watercolor 101

$75 for 5-class workshop

This class will help you understand ways watercolor acts on paper and how brushes can be a hinderance or a help. We will focus on the 7 Elements of Art: line, form, shape, texture, color, space and value. Plus the principles of art will be introduced.

This introduction class will include technique, the language of art, and time to create.

Instructor: Adria Hanson has taught art for 21 years and is currently art teacher at Burley Christian school for grades 7-12th grade. Hanson also teaches private lessons to homeschool families on the Key Peninsula.
Graduating with a BFA from the University of Oklahoma in Norman OK, she also spent time studying art in Florence, Italy at the Lorenzo de’Medici school of Art.

Hanson has been married for 19 years to a Boeing firefighter. They have three beautiful children; 14, 12 and 8.

Adria Hanson is also a proud tribal member of the Choctaw and Cherokee nations.
