The Mustard Seed Project of Washington state’s Key Peninsula has been honored with the 2026 Innovator Award from the National Council on Aging (NCOA), a national recognition presented as part of the organization’s Trailblazers in Aging Awards.

The National Council on Aging selected The Mustard Seed Project as this year’s Innovator Award recipient for demonstrating how thoughtful, community-driven solutions can transform aging services and help older adults maintain their independence, health, and quality of life.

Presented during NCOA’s Age+Action Conference in Arlington, Virginia, the award highlights organizations that are redefining how communities support older adults.
