Our Senior Housing Project

The Mustard Seed Village is the first assisted living project on the Key Peninsula, providing a much-needed community for seniors to age in place. It features three homes under one long roof, two for assisted living, and one for memory care. The Village is an integral part of the Mustard Seed Project — designed to enhance the lives of elders, their families, and the entire Key Peninsula community.

The Village, a Mustard Seed Project:

The Village is made of three small homes under one long roof. Two are assisted living homes and one home provides memory care. Each home has 10 bedrooms, surrounding an open hearth area with individual studio apartments, offering a mix of privacy and shared community. You will not see uniforms, PA systems or medication carts at the Village. Residents enjoy the camaraderie of friendly neighbors, communal meals and activities with caregivers who know you.

Thank you to all who helped us celebrate The Mustard Seed Village Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony.

Thank you to all who supported this dream and helped it become a reality!

We are so happy to have a supportive care option for elders on the Key Peninsula.

Our Senior Housing Project Partners

The Greenhouse Project

The Mustard Seed Project has been working with The Green House Project since 2016, on the design and the development of its senior housing. This unique, nationally recognized model of eldercare seeks excellent quality of life and of care for seniors, their families, and staff.

Hearth & Truss

The assisted living and memory care homes will be managed by Hearth & Truss, a leader in assisted living management working to create thriving communities that feel like home.

“It’s a pleasure to be able to help people. Some people that I have driven, I think I was probably their only social contact for the week. It just gives them a contact with the rest of the world, which they won’t necessarily have otherwise.

This is important to them and it’s important to me. Someday I may need the use of the service myself. Let’s make sure it works right.”
