Matt will review the practical steps that you can take to avoid falling prey to scammers and fraudsters. Matt will teach you to easily recognize the tactics used by these crooks when they try to convince you to give them your money and/or your personal information. Matt will also take you through the process of recovering from scams and fraud, so that you can limit the damage done to you.

Bring your questions, and Matt will provide the answers!

Thursday, May 8th at 1:00pm at the Crandall Center.

Home Delivered Meals

Did you know The Mustard Seed Project delivers delicious and nutritious meals to people age 60+ on the Key Peninsula? Every Thursday our volunteer drviers bring participants one meal to their home. We are planning on expanding the program to two days a week in the future.

Our home-delivered meal program is currently offered free of charge to all participants. However, starting in July, we will be transitioning to a sliding scale payment structure. This means that the cost of the meals will vary depending on your income level, ensuring that everyone can still access this service while contributing in a way that aligns with their financial situation. We’ll provide more details on the specific rates as we get closer to the change. This update will help us continue to offer high-quality meals while maintaining the sustainability of the program.

Benefits of the Program:

  • Provides a balanced meal to those who may be challenged by meal preparation
  • Fresh, made-from-scratch meals
  • Fosters healthy aging in place
  • Provides peace of mind to family and friends
  • Offers social connection

Interested in receiving meals? Give us a call to get signed up. 253-884-1499.
