USDA Rural Development provided critical funding to support the Mustard Seed Village on Washington’s Key Peninsula, as part of the Mustard Seed Project’s elder care initiative. Completed in early 2023, the village is a Greenhouse-Model assisted living community that enables local elders to ag in place with dignity while also strengthening community support systems across the Key Peninsula.

The Mustard Seed Project promotes independent living and quality of life for seniors residing on the Key Peninsula in western Washington by providing services and programs in transportation, information & referral, health and wellness, senior housing options, community education, and nutrition.
