Giving Tuesday

We all know about Black Friday, but have you heard of Giving Tuesday on December 2nd?

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown and inspired millions of people to give, whether it’s some of your time or a donation.

In honor of Giving Tuesday (December 2nd) we are asking for your support to fund programs that help seniors on Key Peninsula safely age in place. Whether it’s providing firewood in the winter, yard care in the spring, home-delivered meals year-round, or offering a variety of engaging events and classes at the Crandall Center, your contribution will directly impact the lives of seniors in your community.

You can make a difference this Giving Tuesday by:
-Donating online (https://themustardseedproject.org/donate/)
-Volunteering with us! (https://themustardseedproject.org/volunteer-application/)

Together, we can make the Key Peninsula the best place to grow older. Thank you for your continued support and making an impact for our older neighbors!

Brunch & Bingo

Brunch & Bingo is Monday, December 1st!

Brunch will feature biscuits and sausage gravy with mixed fruit. $5/per person.

The Golden Giving Tree

Starting December 1st, you’re invited to stop by the Crandall Center and select a tag from our Golden Giving Tree. Each tag represents a wish from one of the wonderful elders living at The Village. By choosing a tag, you’ll help make the holiday season sparkle a little brighter for an elder in our community.

Please return unwrapped gifts to the Crandall Center by Thursday, December 18th.

The goal of the Golden Giving Tree is simple yet meaningful: to ensure every elder at The Village has a gift to open and a reason to smile this holiday season. Thank you for sharing the warmth of the season and helping us spread joy.
